2011 Show & Shine Motorcycle Show
Welcome to the info page on our 2011 Show & Shine Motorcycle Show. This is our 9th annual show,
and we are striving to make it the best ever. Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 18, 2011
and make plans to attend one of the best Bike Shows in Portland. The show is scheduled to open
at 10:00 AM. Trophies will be awarded at 3:00 PM.
Thanks to our supporting dealer Bob Lanphere's, Beaverton Motorcycles, we will be awarding trophies
for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in 6 categories of motorcycles, judged by everyone attending. There
will be a beautiful trophy awarded for the very Best In Show. Spiff up your ride and register
your Bike for the competition. A registration fee of $10.00 will be donated to this years selected
charity, Candlelighters for Children with Cancer.
Their motto is 'It is better to light one candle
than to curse the darkness'. Come and help us light as many candles as possible to aid these Children.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and pop will be provided free of charge, we appreciate any and all donations to the charity.
There will be a 50/50 drawing at the end of the event during the trophy award ceremony, tickets $1.00
each. Again proceeds go to Candlelighters. Every half hour we will be having a raffle drawing for some
really great prizes donated by our supporting dealer. Plan to make a day of it.
This year we are having a variety of Vendors booths. There will be something of interest for everyone.
In addition to our vendor booths, be sure say hi to Doug and the Sales staff and check out the new
motorcycle offerings available in Beaverton Motorcycles line of Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki Motorcycles.
Shari and her staff will be having some eye popping deals in the parts and apparel department. Beaverton
Motorcycle will be providing demo rides for those who hold a motorcycle endorsement. Be sure to take a demo
ride and marvel at the new innovations in 2 wheeled equipment. Smooth, dependable power.
We will have representatives to talk with you from Star Touring & Riding Chapter 146, The Patriot Guard,
Team Oregon and Bikers for Christ.
Again this year, Beaverton Motorcycle will be performing Dyno tests to determine your true horsepower.
Dyno tests will cost $25.00 and you will want to schedule as soon as you arrive as all their time slots
will fill up fast.
This is a Charity event and all proceeds will be donated to the Candlelighters for Children with Cancer.
